The story is about our Vučić family’s tradition and love for wine.

Along with the terroir of Blatnica, where our vineyards are located, and the sun over Brotnjo, with a special glow here, we can proudly say that these are the foundations of our winery. Equipped with modern technology, it is woven into the centuries-old traditional family production of top quality Herzegovina wines from autochthonous sorts Žilavka and Blatina.

Viticulture and winemaking of

Herzegovina

The grapevine (Vitis vinifera) is probably the most described and sung among all plants. However, it has been cultivated in Herzegovina since prehistoric times.

In Herzegovina wine has been drunk for over 2,200 years and winemaking culture has been inherited since the Illyrian era. Above all, the Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers is deserved for the great success of wine growing. Moreover, winemaking has always been the main branch of agriculture that strongly influenced Herzegovinians way of life. Herzegovina’s winemakers are known for Žilavka and Blatina as unique sorts that carry the scent of the earth and the power of the sun.
